I have been hearing so many good things for so long about Luna Bleu, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would try them out. As I started my - ahem - research, I couldn't find out much about the company from the website. So I shot an email and received a quick and helpful reply. Luna Bleu originated out of a need for customers of a spray tanning salon. Those customers would naturally be looking for high quality bath/body products that were gentle on the skin. Well, a few testers got their hands on the products and word soon spread. People all over wanted to know how to get the goods and now they, too, can "take a vacation from the ordinary." Today from Luna Bleu's website you can order any number of products in an astounding number of scents.

Having so much to offer, it's a good thing the website is well structured in relaxing shades of pastels. This site has been revamped and it just adorable! The homepage is where you can get some quick and dirty details about the newest scents - just be prepared to stay awhile. The newly added scent list alone is enough to make your nose twitch inLuna Bleu bath whip review, Bath and body find.com, the site for bath and body lovers anticipation! The full scent list is readily available in a top left hand link. Folks, this scent list is pretty extensive!. There are a number of well recognized scent choices here and many, many exclusive blends. There are no scent groups that are left untouched - you can find plenty of bakery... floral... earthy... you name it, they've probably got it. And if they don't have just what you're looking for? Well, you can create your very own custom blend. How cool is that!?!

OK, just look at all the products offered. You can purchase different types of sugar scrubs, cream soaps, shower gels, bath bombs, perfumes, lotions - the list goes on and on and on. When ordering I noticed I could not only choose my fragrance, but also the color and scent intensity! There were about 5 colors to choose from and scent intensity could be light, medium, or strong. It couldn't be much more custom unless I was whipping it up myself! I chose a few products to try, Luna Bleu bath and body review, Bath and body find.com, the site for bath and body loversbut will focus this review on my foaming bath whip.

Ordering was a fun journey. Luna Bleu has such a vast variety of products and available scents, that it can seem overwhelming. If you're going in for the first time, I suggest you have a strategy. I did not and found my head reeling from all the choices! I had to take a breather and regroup before I could get to that ‘add to cart' stage I hold so near and dear to my heart.

My order arrived well packaged and fairly soon after ordering. Everything was secure and wrapped well. The cream soap I am reviewing was wrapped in its own sealed bag for added protection. Sample vials of perfume were included - a great way to try some of the many scents available!

What did my cream soap look like?Luna Bleu foaming bath whip, Bath and body find.com, the site for candle lovers

I tried the 4oz container of foaming bath whip, which came in an amber jar with a white lid. I liked the jar color - cool looking and different from the usual. The lid had a label identifying the store name, scent, and ingredients. I chose to have my soap colored blue and this turned out to be a pretty, light blue, almost aqua. The soap was light and creamy - whipped but not a jar full of air (we've all been there!).

What did my foaming bath whip from Luna Bleu look like?

I was reminded of the Starbust Candy when I read this scent description:

Watermelon Sour bath whip from Luna Bleu, Bath and body find.com, the site for bath and body lovers"The aroma of sweet and sour mandarin oranges, pineapples, and wild watermelon."

I chose to have my cream soap strongly scented and I figured my nose would be in for a literal explosion of scents. I wasn't far off base - cold sniffing this made me want to pucker! This was mostly sour with just hints of sweetness poking through. On repeated sniffs, I could individually pick out the orange and the pineapple. Overall a really good mix of scents. In the shower the scent remained strong and blossomed even more.

How did my bath whip from Luna Bleu perform?Luna Bleu scented bath whip review, Bath and body find.com, the site for bath and body lovers

This cream soap went on silky, sort of like a lotion would. It took a bit of work to get it lathering, but once it did it provided a light, fluffy lather that rinsed clean. The scent filled the shower and seemed less sour. I felt very clean after using the soap with a bath pouf. As a stand-alone product, I noticed that it made my skin feel moisturized and I did not feel dry or tight after my shower. The scent lingered on my skin immediately after use and faintly for about an hour later.

Closing to my review of a bath whip from Luna Bleu:

This was my introduction to a wildly popular place and I can say I was very pleased. I haveLuna Bleu bath and body review, Bath and body find.com, the site for bath and body lovers tried many a cream soap in my bath-time and I can say this was a good one - creamy, light, cleansing and moisturizing. And it smelled good to boot! My only gripe would be that the label was not waterproof. This is a minor gripe, but one of my pet peeves for bath products. I am super excited to try the other products in my order. I'll be sure to review them when I do!

Bon Voyage!

~ Andrea
